The Service Contracts cover the maintenance and repair of the coaling plants, the limestone supply system and the gypsum and ash disposal facilities.
The complex plant service in coal-fired power plants is an essential component of FAM’s range of services. The above referenced contracts were extended on the basis of the reliability proven by FAM’s Plant Service Department. This renewed award is a perfect example of the trust in the FAM Group’s competence and performance over the last 15 years.

The turnkey system has a total conveying length of 9.7 km. Besides shiftable and stationary long-distance conveyors, the system’s major components comprise two mobile crushers on crawlers and a spreader equipped with a
140 m boom for direct overburden dumping.
Aiming to modernize its cement production, Mordovcement ordered the handling equipment for the Wankinskij opencast mine from FAM.
The successful commissioning of the FAM handling and processing system helped reduce transport time and cost by 40%.

Within the framework of a planned rise in production from 4 to 12 million tons/year, the FAM systems were installed in the Serbian Tamnava-West opencast mine (in the Kolubara mining region near Belgrade). They help secure the country’s national power supply in the next 20 years.
The scope of supplies comprises four (4) shiftable long-distance conveyors of 2,000 mm belt width, complete with 4 pontoon-mounted drive stations with a driving power of up to 4,000 kW, three (3) movable feeding hoppers and a transport crawler for shifting the drive stations.

The clear user interface facilitates online display of the most important current plant parameters on a monitor.
Signals showing the actual status of the plants in traffic light colors help the user evaluate the data. Dependent on the displayed status and compared with the relevant maintenance characteristics, decisions on any maintenance work required can be made.
